The proper preparation is the key to success

Sportshorses are top athletes. These horses need, besides the right diet and the medical care, something else to support the training- sports therapy.

This therapy includes massage (muscle relaxation and/or equine sports massage), physiotherapy, accupressure, homeopathy and/or homotoxicology, individually adapted to the needs of each horse. In many countries, the “alternative medicine” for horses, is already part of the normal course of life. Trainer, rider, veterinarian, farrier and therapist build a team.

Transports, horse shows and relocation induce stress. This stress has a negative impact on the sporting performance. An adequate therapy minimizes the risk of failure at the moment of the competition.

Used along with the training, sports therapy increases mobility and flexibility of the horse. Hardening of the musculature can be treated immediately.

The application of sports therapy in its full range during a long competition contributes to maintain the horses suppleness and prevents premature muscular fatigue.

Horses enjoy manual therapy such as massage and this in turn improves competitiveness of the team.
